• In-store transactions. When you buy, place a custom order, use layaway or financing, or sell us gold or jewelry, we collect the information needed to complete the transaction and meet legal requirements. When you sell us precious metals or jewelry, this can include a government-issued photo ID and transaction records that state law requires us to keep and, in some cases, report to law enforcement.
• Technical information. Our website host may automatically log basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this website.

Third-party services on this website

Some features on this site are provided by other companies, which may receive your IP address and browser information when the page loads or when you use them:

• Google Maps (embedded map and directions links) and Google Fonts (typefaces), both provided by Google LLC.
• Instagram and Facebook/Messenger links, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. These open on Meta's services.
• Netlify, which hosts this website.

Those companies handle information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read. We don't control them.

How we use information

• To answer your questions, give quotes, and complete orders, repairs, custom work, layaway, and purchases.
• To comply with the law, including record-keeping for precious metal purchases, and to prevent fraud and theft.
• To keep this website secure and working.

We will not post your photos, your likeness, or your finished custom piece on our website or social media without your permission.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (such as payment processors and financing providers you choose to use), when the law requires it (for example, precious-metal purchase reporting or a valid legal request), or to protect our rights, customers, and property.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by calling or visiting the store. We may need to keep certain records where the law requires it. You can stop receiving messages from us at any time by telling us or replying STOP to a text.

Children

This website is meant for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.

We try to describe and photograph pieces accurately, but photos are for illustration and colors, size, and appearance can differ on your screen. Words like "yellow-tone," "white-tone," "rose-tone," "iced," and "stone-set" describe appearance only. Metal type and karat, stone type (natural, lab-grown, or simulated), carat weight, and any treatments are disclosed on the item's tag or in store, and the written description on your receipt controls. Items shown may already be sold. We may correct errors at any time.

The text, photographs, design, and the Oxford name and logo on this website belong to Oxford Perfumes & Jewelry or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or use our photos or content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

This site mentions brands we carry and links to services we don't operate, such as Google Maps, Instagram, and Facebook. See Trademarks & Content. We are not responsible for third-party websites, content, or practices.

Sales, Returns & Layaway

All purchases are made in the store. The terms printed on or given with your receipt are the final word for your purchase. The general policies below explain how things usually work; please ask before you buy if anything is unclear.

Prices and descriptions

Prices are quoted in store and can change with metal and stone markets until a sale is completed. Your receipt states what you bought, including metal and karat and stone type where it applies.

Returns and exchanges

• Return and exchange eligibility, time limits, and any refund method are stated on your receipt. Please bring the receipt and the item in its original condition.
• Custom and made-to-order work, including custom grillz, engraved, resized, or altered pieces, is made specifically for you and generally cannot be returned or exchanged once production starts. Deposits for custom work may be non-refundable; the amount and terms are explained when you order.
• Grillz generally cannot be returned once worn, for hygiene reasons.
• Fragrances generally cannot be returned once opened or if the packaging seal is broken.
• Items with damage from wear, accidents, or alterations by someone else may not be eligible.

Layaway

Layaway is available on many items. The deposit, payment schedule, how long we hold the item, and what happens if payments aren't completed are explained in your written layaway agreement. Items stay in the store until they're paid in full.

Financing

Financing is offered through third-party providers and is subject to credit approval and the provider's terms. Oxford is not a lender. Rates, fees, and terms are set by the provider and disclosed in your financing agreement.

Repairs

We will give you an estimate before starting a repair. Older or worn pieces can be fragile, and some stones can be affected by heat or handling. We'll let you know about any special risk before we begin. Please pick up repaired items promptly; items left unclaimed for an extended time may be handled as state law allows after notice.

Selling us gold or jewelry

When you sell us precious metals or jewelry, you must be at least 18, be the lawful owner, and show a valid government-issued photo ID. We record transactions as required by South Carolina law, and some items may need to be held for a period before resale. Offers are based on our evaluation at the time and you are free to decline.

Payment

Accepted payment methods are listed on our home page and in store and may change. Payment through third-party apps is subject to those apps' terms.

Grillz Care & Safety

Grillz are removable decorative jewelry worn over the teeth. They are not dental appliances, do not treat or correct any dental condition, and are not made or fitted by a dentist. Oxford Perfumes & Jewelry is a jewelry store, not a dental office, and does not provide dental care or dental advice.

Before you order

• Talk to your dentist before wearing grillz, especially if you have cavities, gum disease, loose teeth, braces, crowns, bridges, implants, or other dental work.
• Tell us about any metal allergies or sensitivities. Lower-karat gold and other alloys can contain metals such as nickel that some people react to.
• The fitting process uses a mold or impression of your teeth for jewelry sizing only.

Wearing and care

• Remove grillz before eating, drinking anything other than water, and sleeping. Don't wear them for long stretches.
• Brush and floss your teeth before putting grillz in, and clean grillz after each use with a soft brush and mild soap or a cleaner we recommend. Rinse well and store them dry in their case.
• Food and bacteria trapped under grillz can lead to tooth decay, gum irritation, and bad breath. See your dentist regularly.
• Stop wearing them and contact your dentist or doctor if you notice pain, swelling, bleeding, irritation, or a rash.
• Do not wear grillz while playing contact sports or in situations where they could be swallowed or damaged.
• Keep grillz away from children and pets; small parts and stones can be a choking hazard.

Your responsibility

You choose to wear grillz at your own risk, and you are responsible for following these care instructions and your dentist's advice. To the extent allowed by law, Oxford is not responsible for dental or health problems caused by wearing grillz or by not following these instructions.

Some watches we show have been customized after manufacture, for example with aftermarket stone-set cases or bezels added by Oxford. Customized watches are not made, sold, or endorsed by the original watch maker, and any warranty from the maker may no longer apply. We tell you in store which parts are original and which are aftermarket.

Unless otherwise noted, product photos on this website were taken by or for Oxford Perfumes & Jewelry, and the website text and design are our own. The typefaces used on this site, Bodoni Moda and Jost, are licensed under the SIL Open Font License. Social media and map icons are used only to link to those services.

Custom work and designs

We do not reproduce logos, trademarks, characters, artwork, or other protected designs that belong to someone else unless the customer confirms they own them or have permission to use them. By ordering a custom piece with a name, logo, image, or design, you confirm you have the right to use it.
